President Trump on Wednesday responded to Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk’s disappointment with the One Big Beautiful Bill act, which passed in the House last week and is now being negotiated in the Senate. 
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Musk said he was “disappointed” in the Big Beautiful Bill in a recent interview, saying it “undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.”
“I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both. My personal opinion,” Musk said.
However, the bill, while expected to cost $1.4 trillion, will extend 2017 tax cuts, eliminate federal taxes on tips, overtime pay, and interest from loans on American-made cars.
Among its other provisions are a $1,000 tax-free “MAGA Savings Account” for every newborn, raising the child tax credit to $2,500 until 2028, and the addition of work requirements to Medicaid starting in 2026.
Still several Senators have voiced concerns over the bill and vowed not to vote for it, citing concerns about the deficit.
