Alabama took down LSU 31-13 in a Saturday night SEC showdown at Tiger Stadium that carried major playoff implications. The Crimson Tide’s defense, led by coordinator Kane Wommack, gave Tigers quarterback Sam Leavitt’s offense fits for most of the night. The loss drops LSU to three defeats in nine games, badly damaging its College Football Playoff hopes.
