Isaias has forced the closure of 55 Waffle House restaurants across Florida and the Gulf Coast, according to a map published by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. The storm’s impact on the region has disrupted operations at locations that often serve as community hubs during severe weather. Residents in affected areas should check local listings before heading out for a meal. Waffle House closures are closely tracked during hurricanes because they signal how severe conditions are on the ground.
