A Colorado city has made Orkin’s 2026 Rattiest Cities list, drawing attention to the state’s pest problems. The ranking is based on the pest control company’s data on rodent activity and treatment calls. Local residents are weighing in on what the honor means for their community. Officials and experts often point to construction, food waste and weather as drivers of rodent populations. The list is a reminder that even scenic towns can struggle with unwanted houseguests.
